The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the prize money distribution for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, with champions India taking the largest share of the US$11.25 million prize pool.
India earned US$2,639,423 after defeating the New Zealand by 96 runs in the final, while runners-up New Zealand received US$1,422,692.
Semi-finalists South Africa collected US$1,005,577 after an unbeaten run before their loss to New Zealand, while England secured US$974,423 following their semi-final exit.
Among the Super 8 teams, West Indies US$538,269 and Pakistan took home US$522,692, while a strong campaign by Zimbabwe saw them claim US$491,538 and hosts Sri Lanka secured US$475,962.
Other participating nations including Australia, Afghanistan, and United each earned US$309,808, while emerging teams such as Italy celebrated their maiden tournament victory and walked away with US$256,154.
