Sri Lanka have announced their playing XI for the opening T20 International against the West Indies, scheduled to begin at 6.00 a.m. Sri Lanka time tomorrow (12) at Sabina Park, Jamaica.
The visitors will be led by Kusal Mendis, who captains a side featuring a blend of experienced campaigners and emerging talent as Sri Lanka look to make a strong start to the three-match series.
Sri Lanka Playing XI: Pathum Nissanka, Kusal Mendis (C), Lasith Croospulle, Pavan Rathnayake, Kamindu Mendis, Dasun Shanaka, Wanindu Hasaranga, Maheesh Theekshana, Dushmantha Chameera, Eshan Malinga and Dilshan Madushanka.
The T20I series follows Sri Lanka’s successful ODI campaign in the Caribbean, where they secured a 1-0 series victory over the West Indies.
