Proteas bring back Ismail for Women’s T20 World Cup push

South Africa have announced their 15-player squad for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with veteran speedster Shabnim Ismail making a surprise return from retirement.

Laura Wolvaardt will captain the side once again as the Proteas aim to go one step further after finishing runners-up in the previous two editions of the tournament.
