White-ball series in Hambantota to feature ICC Women’s Championship ODIs
Pakistan Women will tour Sri Lanka for a white-ball series immediately after the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, with the two sides set to contest three ODIs and three T20Is in Hambantota.
The ODI series will begin on July 23 and forms part of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025-29, while the T20I series will get underway on July 31. All six matches will be played at Mahinda Rajapaksa International Cricket Stadium (MRICS).
Pakistan currently sit second in the ICC Women’s Championship standings with eight points from six matches, while New Zealand lead the table with 13 points. Sri Lanka hold the advantage in ODI meetings between the two sides, winning 22 of their 34 encounters, while Pakistan lead the T20I rivalry with 11 victories from 21 matches.
Both teams are currently competing in the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 in England. Pakistan open their campaign against India on June 14, while Sri Lanka face hosts England in the tournament opener on June 12.
