West Indies produced a clinical all-round performance to thrash Bangladesh by five wickets in the third T20I, sealing a 3-0 series sweep in Chattogram.
Romario Shepherd led the charge with a brilliant hat-trick — the second by a West Indian in T20Is — as Bangladesh collapsed from 107 for 2 to 151 all out. His 3 for 36, backed by disciplined bowling from Jason Holder and Khary Pierre, turned the innings around after Tanzid Hasan’s fluent 89.
Chasing 152, West Indies overcame early jitters as Ackeem Auguste and stand-in skipper Roston Chase struck fluent fifties in a match-winning 91-run stand. Auguste launched five sixes, while Chase anchored confidently to steer the visitors home with ease.
The dominant 3-0 victory marked West Indies’ first T20I series win after seven consecutive losses, setting the tone perfectly for their upcoming campaign.
