- Colombo Kickerz to host official Juventus Academy coaches from Italy in elite five-day youth programme
Colombo Kickerz Football Academy will host the second edition of the Juventus Training Camp Colombo from July 6 to 10 at the CR & FC Grounds, Colombo, giving 50 young footballers the opportunity to train under official Juventus Academy coaches from Italy.
The five-day programme will follow the renowned Juventus Academy methodology, focusing on technical development, tactical awareness, teamwork, discipline and personal growth. This year’s camp has been limited to just 50 participants to ensure greater individual attention and a more intensive training experience.
Speaking ahead of the camp, Colombo Kickerz CEO Romario De Silva said the return of the programme reflects the success of last year’s inaugural edition and the academy’s commitment to providing young Sri Lankan footballers with access to world-class coaching and international development opportunities.
The camp will be conducted by two official Juventus Academy coaches alongside Colombo Kickerz’s coaching staff, with players grouped according to age and ability. As one of Sri Lanka’s leading youth football academies, Colombo Kickerz continues to strengthen local football development by creating pathways for young players through elite coaching and international exposure.
