Australia, India continue ICC Rankings domination

Australia continued their dominance in world cricket after retaining the No.1 ranking in Men’s Tests, Women’s ODIs and Women’s T20Is in the latest annual ICC rankings update, while India stayed on top in Men’s ODIs and Men’s T20Is.

The annual update applies 100 percent weightage to matches played since May 2025, while results from the previous two years receive 50 percent weighting.

Men’s Test Rankings

Australia strengthened their grip on the No.1 Test ranking with 131 points, while reigning World Test Champions South Africa remained second on 119 points.

India climbed to third with 104 points, overtaking England, who slipped to fourth on 102. Pakistan moved ahead of Sri Lanka into fifth place with 89 points.

Women’s ODI & T20I Rankings

Australia remained comfortably ahead in the Women’s ODI rankings with 163 points, followed by England on 128 and India on 126.

In Women’s T20Is, Australia lead with 287 points ahead of England (275) and India (264), while reigning T20 World Cup champions New Zealand sit fourth.

Men’s T20I Rankings

India retained the No.1 position in Men’s T20Is with 275 points after becoming the first team to successfully defend the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup title. England are second on 262 points, while Australia occupy third place with 258.

New Zealand, South Africa, Pakistan and West Indies complete the top seven.

Men’s ODI Rankings

India also retained the No.1 spot in Men’s ODIs with 118 points, five ahead of New Zealand. Australia stayed third on 109 points.

South Africa climbed to fourth place with 102 points, moving ahead of Pakistan (98). Bangladesh remained ninth with 84 points, while West Indies rounded out the top 10 with 74 points.
