Sadaf & Gull Centuries fire Pakistan Women to record 206-Run ODI victory

Pakistan produced a record-breaking performance to crush Zimbabwe by 206 runs in the second ODI at the National Bank Stadium, clinching the three-match series 2-0 in dominant fashion.

Pakistan posted a massive 343 for 4 after being put in to bat, their second-highest ODI total ever, powered by a sensational opening stand between Sadaf Shamas and Gull Feroza. The duo stitched together 189 runs, the second-highest opening partnership in Pakistan Women’s ODI history.

Gull Feroza stole the spotlight with a blistering 100 off 95 balls, becoming the fastest century-maker in Pakistan Women’s ODI history, while Sadaf continued her extraordinary run of form with 101 off 112 balls. Her knock also made her the first Pakistan Women’s batter to register 50+ scores in four consecutive ODI innings.

Sidra Amin added a fluent unbeaten 59, while late contributions from Aliya Riaz and captain Fatima Sana pushed Pakistan to an imposing total. Fatima also led from the front with the ball, taking 3 for 15.

In reply, Zimbabwe were bowled out for 137 in 39 overs, with only brief resistance from Runyararo Pasipanodya and Kelis Ndhlovu. Pakistan’s attack shared the wickets, with Momina Riasat, Rameen Shamim and Syeda Aroob Shah all picking up two wickets each.

The emphatic win not only sealed the series but also marked Pakistan Women’s biggest ODI victory by runs, surpassing their previous record of 193 runs against the Netherlands.
