A total of 359 players are set to feature in the IPL 2026 mini-auction on December 16 in Abu Dhabi, with 40 players listing themselves at the maximum base price of INR 2 crore. Among them, Sri Lankans Wanindu Hasaranga, Matheesha Pathirana, and Maheesh Theekshana are the only representatives from the island nation.

Cameron Green will go under the hammer as a batter in the first set, alongside Devon Conway, Jake Fraser-McGurk, Sarfaraz Khan, David Miller, and Prithvi Shaw. Notably, Quinton de Kock, Dunith Wellalage, and George Linde, who were missing from the longlist, have now been included in the final roster.

Of the total 359 players, 244 are Indian and 115 overseas. The auction will begin with a full round of capped players in the order of batters, all-rounders, wicketkeepers, fast bowlers, and spinners. Following that, an accelerated process will cover the remaining players after number 70, including unsold players from earlier rounds.

A total of 77 slots are available, including 31 for overseas players. Kolkata Knight Riders lead the purse charts with INR 64.30 crore and 13 slots to fill, including six overseas. Chennai Super Kings follow with INR 43.4 crore and nine vacant slots, heading into what promises to be a thrilling auction.
