Kohli climbs to No. 4 in ODIs as Ayub reclaims top T20I Allrounder spot

India batter Virat Kohli has moved up to fourth in ICC ODI batting rankings after his 52nd ODI century in Ranchi, where he scored 135 off 120 balls in India’s 17-run win over South Africa. His 136-run partnership with Rohit Sharma, the top-ranked ODI batter, sees Kohli now on 751 rating points, just 32 behind Rohit’s 783.

Pakistan allrounder Saim Ayub reclaimed the top spot among T20I allrounders following his Player-of-the-Match performance in Pakistan’s six-wicket tri-series final win over Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi. Ayub dismissed Sri Lanka’s top-scorer Kamil Mishara and contributed 36 off 33 balls to guide Pakistan’s chase.

Other notable movers include Pakistan legspinner Abrar Ahmed, now fourth in T20I bowlers, and India’s Kuldeep Yadav, up to sixth in ODI bowlers. South Africa’s Marco Jansen rose to fifth among Test bowlers and second among Test allrounders after taking 12 wickets in the two-Test series against India, while teammate Simon Harmer jumped 13 spots to 11th after 17 wickets.
