Pakistan to host Australia for 3-Match ODI Series in Rawalpindi and Lahore

Pakistan will host Australia for a three-match ODI series later this month, with games scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore.

The tour begins with the opening ODI at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on May 30, after Australia arrive in Islamabad on May 23. The series then shifts to Gaddafi Stadium for the second and third ODIs on June 2 and June 4.

This will be Australia’s first bilateral ODI series in Pakistan since their 2022 tour, when Pakistan won the series 2-1 in a closely contested battle.

The upcoming series also adds to the growing bilateral engagement between the two sides, following Australia’s earlier visit this year for a T20I series in Lahore, where Pakistan secured a 3-0 clean sweep.

With the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2027 cycle building momentum, both teams will use the series as a key opportunity to test combinations and refine their 50-over strategies.

After the Pakistan tour, Australia will travel to Bangladesh for a six-match white-ball series comprising three ODIs in Dhaka and three T20Is in Chattogram.
