Hollie Armitage appointed MI London Women’s Captain for The Hundred 2026

Hollie Armitage has been named captain of MI London Women ahead of the 2026 season of The Hundred.

Armitage will reunite with head coach Lisa Keightley after the duo guided Northern Superchargers to the 2025 Women’s Hundred title. Keightley joined MI London during the off-season following the Ambani family’s takeover of the franchise previously known as Oval Invincibles.

The 27-year-old, who has represented England six times, was one of Keightley’s priority signings during The Hundred draft earlier this year. Armitage has captained Northern Superchargers since 2022 after succeeding Lauren Winfield-Hill, who has now moved to Sunrisers Leeds.

Speaking after the appointment, Keightley praised Armitage’s leadership qualities and tactical awareness, highlighting her calmness under pressure as a key factor behind the decision.

Armitage also expressed excitement about leading MI London into a new chapter and said she hopes to recreate last season’s success alongside Keightley at The Oval, where the team will play in front of packed crowds during the tournament.
