Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) continued their red-hot form in IPL 2026 with a commanding win over Delhi Capitals (DC), completing a clinical chase powered by a destructive century from Finn Allen.
After being asked to chase just 143, Allen turned the match into a one-man show, smashing his first IPL hundred off 47 balls and finishing with 10 towering sixes. He was particularly ruthless against spin, dismantling the Delhi attack and finishing the chase almost single-handedly.
Earlier, KKR’s spin trio strangled Delhi’s batting lineup, with Sunil Narine and Varun Chakravarthy leading a suffocating middle-overs squeeze alongside Anukul Roy. Delhi never recovered after losing wickets in clusters and could only reach 142/8.
Pathum Nissanka was the lone bright spot for Delhi with a fluent fifty, but the lack of support at the other end proved costly as KKR’s bowlers dominated throughout. With this win, Kolkata secured their fourth consecutive victory and strengthened their position in the IPL standings.
