T20 World Cup 2026 Semi-Finals Locked In

India confirmed their place in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 semi-finals with a thrilling win over the West Indies in the final Super 8 fixture.

The defending champions chased down 195, posted by the Windies after being put in to bat, with five wickets in hand and four balls to spare, knocking out the two-time winners and setting up a mouth-watering semi-final clash against England. The second semi-final will take place on March 5 at Wankhede Stadium, repeating the 2024 semi-final encounter.

South Africa will face New Zealand in the first semi-final on March 4 at Eden Gardens, after maintaining an unbeaten run and topping Group 1. England, meanwhile, finished atop Group 2 with wins in all three matches, joining India as semi-finalists.

New Zealand’s semi-final spot was confirmed earlier following the result of the Sri Lanka–Pakistan Super 8 match in Kandy, completing the quartet of teams in the knockout stage.

The winners of the semis will clash in the summit showdown on March 8 at Narendra Modi Stadium, setting up a blockbuster finale to the T20 World Cup 2026.
