Zimbabwe were bundled out for 125 in 19.3 overs, with Sikandar Raza top-scoring with 37 off 32 balls. Rashid led the charge, supported by Mujeeb Ur Rahman (2/26) and Abdullah Ahmadzai (2/28), dismantling Zimbabwe’s middle order.
In reply, Afghanistan’s chase was steady and composed. Ibrahim Zadran anchored the innings with an unbeaten 57 off 51 balls, while Azmatullah Omarzai’s quickfire 25* off 13 guided them home in 18 overs.
