The second phase of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Trophy Tour in Sri Lanka will commence on 30 January, bringing the coveted trophy closer to cricket fans ahead of the tournament.
The trophy will arrive in Kandy today (30), with scheduled photo opportunities at Kandy Lake, near Queen’s Hotel, and Sri Dalada Maligawa. Fans can view the trophy on public display at Kandy City Centre from 11:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Later in the day, the tour moves to Pallekele International Cricket Stadium (PICS), featuring a cultural performance at 6:00 p.m. alongside the trophy display. The trophy will also be showcased during the 1st T20I match between Sri Lanka and England at 6:30 p.m. at PICS, giving fans an up-close glimpse before the international clash.
