Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has announced a donation of Rs. 300 million to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund, extending vital support to families affected by Cyclone Ditwah. The decision was made under the leadership of SLC President Mr. Shammi Silva and the Executive Committee.
The board said the contribution reflects its duty as the country’s leading sporting institution, representing a game cherished across Sri Lanka. The funds are expected to strengthen ongoing emergency relief efforts and help restore essential public services in affected regions.
SLC further reaffirmed its commitment to stand with the nation during times of crisis, adding that it will continue to assist the country’s recovery and development whenever needed.
