The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 will be held from March 26 to May 31, retaining its familiar late-March to end-May window.
The 19th edition of the tournament is set to begin roughly three weeks after the conclusion of the men’s T20 World Cup, which will run from February 7 to March 8 across India and Sri Lanka. While the BCCI is yet to release the full fixture list, the league will once again stretch over just more than two months.
For the second consecutive year, the IPL will directly overlap with the Pakistan Super League (PSL), which is scheduled from March 26 to May 3, setting up another scheduling clash between the two leagues.
The previous season concluded on June 3, when Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) lifted their maiden IPL title, defeating Punjab Kings (PBKS) by six runs in a thrilling final in Ahmedabad.
