India U19 crush Malaysia U19 by 315 runs in Asia Cup rout

India U19 produced a ruthless all-round performance to hammer Malaysia U19 by a massive 315 runs at the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai. Batting dominance followed by relentless bowling ensured one of the most one-sided victories of the tournament.

Batting first, India U19 piled up a colossal 408 for 7 in their 50 overs at an imposing run rate of 8.16. After a brisk start from skipper Ayush Mhatre and a rapid 26-ball fifty by Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the innings was completely taken over by Abhigyan Kundu and Vedant Trivedi.

Trivedi anchored the innings with a composed 90 off 106 balls, while wicketkeeper-batter Abhigyan Kundu smashed a sensational unbeaten 209 off 125 deliveries, laced with 17 fours and nine sixes. Their monumental 209-run partnership flattened the Malaysian bowling attack, with Muhammad Akram’s 5 for 89 the only highlight for Malaysia.

In reply, Malaysia U19 crumbled under pressure and were bowled out for 93 in 32.1 overs while chasing an impossible 409. India’s bowlers struck early and often, reducing Malaysia to 32 for 6 inside 15 overs.

Deepesh D starred with a devastating 5 for 22, supported by Udhav Mohan’s 2 for 24, as India maintained relentless control. Hamzah Panggi’s fighting 35 offered brief resistance, but the gulf in class was evident as India U19 marched on with a commanding statement win.
