Germany booked their spot in Women’s Nations League final

Germany marched into the Women’s Nations League final after a thrilling 2-2 draw against France in Caen, securing a 3-2 victory on aggregate.

France took an early lead through Melvine Malard’s header in the third minute, but Nicole Anyomi quickly struck back to level the score.

Klara Buehl — on target again after her first-leg goal — put Germany ahead early in the second half, before Clara Mateo’s late header brought France level, though it wasn’t enough to keep their hopes alive.

Germany will now face Spain in the final, with the first leg on November 28 and the second on December 2, in what promises to be a blockbuster showdown between two European powerhouses.
